What do you get when you cross barbershop and boxing? Sunday Punch Quartet, of course! The quartet gives every performance “their best shot” and sing a variety of old-time favorites, contemporary songs, religious music and patriotic songs. The quartet has been together for five years performing in the Owatonna, Waseca, and Mankato area for family events, Northfield’s summer park series, Waseca Lakeshore Nursing Home, and Owatonna Realife and other senior residences. This year they medaled at 5th place in Regional Competition in Winnipeg. They also have been featured at the Twin Rivers Arts Council black and white gala, the Goldsmith’s reunion in Mankato, and the River crossings Art Crawl in St. Peter. Sunday Punch joined the Owatonna Chamber of Commerce and have recently sung at Wenger Corporation annual awards luncheon..
