Minnesota Valley Chorus is a group of regional women singing barbershop harmony.  We meet regularly to practice, perform, socilize and have fun.  We are part of an International non-profit organization Sweet Adelines International with over 30,000 members world wide focusing on accapella singing and musical education.  Our members currently live in Mankato, North Mankato, Eagle Lake, St. Peter, Elysian, Madelia, Nicollet, Rochester and Menominie, WI.

We love to sing and ring chords!  We have an annual show in November, sing in regional churches during the summer, and compete in an annual regional contest.  We would love to sing at your next event!  In addition we currently have three quartets who perform throughout the region.

Timeline:
1945: Sweet Adelines International was founded
1973:  Minnesota Valley Chorus was organized by Carol Grimmer
1975:  Minnesota Valley Chorus was chartered with Sweet Adelines International
2015:  Minnesota Valley Chorus celebrated 40 years of Harmony in Musice
